Whether you're using spreadsheets for work or play, Google Docs has a couple of neat tricks for pulling in data that you might otherwise spend valuable time tracking down.
Speaking of time, quickly insert the current date and time into a cell by typing =GoogleClock(). This will give you the current date and time from your computer, and is dynamic, so it keeps updating.
You can even translate text straight from a spreadsheet. To do so, type into a cell =GoogleTranslate("text you want to translate", "EN", "ES"), substituting the example here with the language codes of your choice. There are plenty more Google Docs spreadsheet functions that you can find by going to the Help menu and selecting Function List.
